I’m suddenly in the strange position of being paid to take pictures for a living while being in no way a photographer. This turn of events is coupled with the fact that I’m also paid to do a lot of other things at the same time, meaning I haven’t had the time to actually learn to take pictures, even though more people see my embarrassing excuses for photographs in the course of a month than any of my friends who are actually lovely, talented, and technically skilled artists/journalists. Luckily, I also live with some of these talented people, and they’ve been doing my best with me, which I’m immensely thankful for. However, I still have a ton of learning to do on a shoestring. Anyone out there with advice on where to learn to use a DSLR?
