Deep in the bowels of 1930’s-built Monroe County Hospital there exists a room where no one but the painters go, a room dedicated to the cult of the mysteries of Genny.
Found this view of the Andrews Street Bridge during the flooding of 1865 on the unfortunately named Sons of the South, which has put hundreds of images from Harpers Weekly during the Civil War period online.
