Also, if you haven’t read a little about the film’s background, it’s pretty interesting. The script was written by Jacques Tati about his relationship with his daughter, although there’s a vicious controversy about which daughter. But I like that there’s this subtle homage to Tati’s career as a mime with the unintelligible dialogue of the film. Plus I’m a sucker for old-school physical tragicomedy.
